A Victorian Escapae, a hen party with a remarkable difference just 5 minutes from Annebrook House Hotel
Take a step back to a time goneby... … a delightful mix of below-stairs industriousness and upstairs luxury.
On arrival, everyone dresses as servants to do some of the household chores, perhaps prepare a dessert, have a chamber pot race, set the table, light the fire etc, with the emphasis very much on fun rather than work!
We then move to the dressing room and everyone changes attire to become ladies before moving upstairs to the drawing room for some parlour games, a dance and of course the inevitable photoshoot.
We have costumes for servants and ladies – and the dressing up alone is quite an event.
We finish with afternoon tea in the dining room—where you have the honour of being the guests at a rather grand tea party
The programme lasts for 2½ hours and it costs €50 per person (including lunch or afternoon tea).
If you choose to do an evening event the cost is €75 per person, includes dinner and lasts for about four hours. The Annebrook Hotel is just ten minutes walk away and offers accommodation for €45 per person sharing for bed and breakfasts.
There is a minimum group size of 10 people and the deposit required is €200.
Please note that we require each of you to wear plain black long sleeved top which is used for the 'servants costume'.
